Meet Heart of Jasper Board Member, Brittany Dunlop!

Brittany enjoys tennis, reading, staying active, sewing, traveling, and enjoying time with friends and family. Her favorite thing to do in downtown Jasper is to walk. She loves the walkability of our downtown and a perfect day is probably going for a walk with her dogs along the Riverwalk, visiting her parents, grabbing a book at the library and enjoying a bite to eat somewhere.

When asked what Heart of Jasper means to him, Brittany said, “Downtown Jasper has always been an important part of my life. My grandparents lived downtown next to the family funeral home and my family moved downtown when I was in middle school. I didn't fully appreciate how important and special (downtown) Jasper was until I moved away. After living in various places across the US, nothing ever felt quite as good a fit as being back in Jasper. We purchased my grandparents home, renovated it, and lived and ran a business downtown for years. I'm currently part-owner of two downtown (ish) businesses and have a deep connection to the actual heart of Jasper.”
