Genealogy for Kids---full family research
This class is designed for kids to work alongside parents/grandparents to begin work on a family tree. This is meant to be a time to start a project that families can continue to work on over time. Support is available from library staff and volunteers throughout the summer to grow their family research. Come and try out a bit of genealogy and discover new things about your family and seeing your place in a larger picture.
Please contact Jill in genealogy to reserve your spot in the class. Space will be limited to allow the opportunity for families to work together on their individual proijects. A beginner's kit will be supplied for each family that registers. Call and leave a message for Jill at 812 482 2712 ext. 6109, email at [email protected] or stop by the Genealogy Room. Other appointment times can be arranged for future dates.
