“Bob” The Magical Wooden Elf Workshop
Sat, Nov 8, 2025, 10:00 – 11:30 AM EST and 12:00pm – 1:30pm EST
Traditional Arts Today, 314 W. 9th Street, Ferdinand, IN
In his workshop at Kringle Toy Makers, Santa has been carving a simple wooden elf. Each one looks the same and has the same name: Bob!
Why Bob? Because Bob doesn’t need a fancy name to be meaningful. He isn’t the sort of elf who makes mischief or tattles to the North Pole. Bob’s gift is quieter—he simply sits, watches, listens, and fills your home with love.
At this special workshop, children will paint and decorate their own Bob the Elf, hear Santa share his story, and bring home a keepsake that reminds their family of what matters most.
Bob is more than a decoration—he’s a reminder that the greatest gift we can give or receive is the time shared with those we love.
This class is FREE thanks to a grant from the Menke Charitable Foundation.
Activities are made possible in part by the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana, the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
We value inclusion and access for all participants. This class is wheelchair accessible and we are pleased to provide additional reasonable accommodations.
