Evansville Philharmonic Concert

Members of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing at the Sounds of the Season Concert from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. EST Saturday, November 21st in the beautiful, domed church of Monastery Immaculate Conception. The concert will feature live symphonic music by the Eykamp String Quartet and John and Diane Schroeder Consortium who serve as the principal string player and as instrumental performers of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra and as teaching faculty at the University of Evansville. Strings, Inc. will open the concert on this Christkindlmarkt Saturday night with a short program showcasing their talents on the violin. This non-profit arts organization dedicated to providing professional, personalized violin instruction to students in the surrounding area will open the evening by making beautiful music together.

The Sounds of the Season Concert, sponsored by the Ferdinand Tourism Commission, will be held in conjunction with the Ferdinand Christkindlmarkt events taking place November 21-22, 2026. As there is no admission to the concert, a freewill offer is encouraged. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Call 800.968.4578 for more information.
