Ball Drop Watch Party 

The DAR is holding a watch party the same night, partnering with Tres Viones Restaurant for a party starting at 9 p.m. The “watch” is for the second ball drop of the year in Times Square at midnight on July 3/July 4, after which those who attend will hike to the courthouse or possibly the Jasper Library atrium steps for a reading of the Declaration of Independence (details still taking shape). The black box at the art center was suggested as an alternative should the weather be inclement.
