One-Room Schoolhouse Open for Tours

The 1918 Alexander One-Room Schoolhouse will be open from 9:00AM – 12:00PM each Saturday between May 24 and October 4 during the Jasper Farmer’s Market.

Discover how life was for students and teachers in a one room school. Educators will be onsite to share information. Find out more about the history of Jasper and Dubois County as you step back in time. There is no cost for this event. Parking is available near the Jasper Public Library. The schoolhouse is within walking distance of the Jasper Riverwalk and Jasper City Mill.
